Design concept briefing
Before we enter production, we will listen carefully to designers and clients. We Weimiao Manufacturing Co. has a professional team to connect with designers and clients. Having been committed to custom furniture business for over 20 years, our teams have enough experience and ability to solve your troubles and provide satisfying solutions for you, which generally refers to the following practices:
• Provide advice on how to reduce costs which is also referred to as “value engineering”
• How to consider structural safety
• How to consider practicability
• How to consider durability
Many designers often neglect the problems that arise during manufacturing, which is one of the reasons Wemiao Manufacturing succeeds in custom furniture. We know exactly what customers need, and all the designers and clients we have worked with acknowledged our services.
Production drawing
After getting the designer and customer a preliminary understanding of the customized drawings, our team will start the second part to make a structural production drawing based on the preliminary design drawing. During this process, we will meet with designer face to face or by video conference, this approach is to reinforce our further conversations with designers, which includes the following:
Substrate materials:
• Wood: medium fiberboard “MDF”, particle board, plywood, composite board, solid wood.
• Metal: iron, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys
• Acrylic: transparent acrylic, frosted acrylic, light box acrylic, translucent color acrylic.
Finishing materials:
• Wood board finishing: wood veneer, artificial wood veneer, color paint, plastic laminate, melamine, color-core MDF board.
• Metal finishing: vacuum-electroplating, powder coating, wood grain transfer printing, high hardness dust-free painting.
Structure discussion:
This part refers to one-off order or large-scale assembled furniture. This is a very important part, involving in cargos being sent to the global, and the packaging should be reasonably designed to facilitate customers to unload the heavy cargo containers.
The above will be marked when we are making construction drawings.
Color swatches
Weimiao Manufacturing Co. will provide color swatches for designers and clients to approve. For custom-made furniture, we clearly understand that color is very important to the design work, especially the color of the brand logo must be the same. Designers often design custom-made furniture. The color of the brand logo will be used as the main color, because the customized work will strengthen the customer's recognition of the brand at a glance and leave a deep impression on the customer.
When it comes to the types of swatches provided by custom-made furniture, they are really all-encompassing.
These include: solid wood, wood veneer, stained wood veneer, artificial wood veneer, color panels, iron, aluminum, stainless steel, fabric, leather, upholstered, glass, etc., everyone of them is often used in a custom-made furniture item, so we at Weimiao Manufacturing understand that providing accurate color swatches is one of the most important elements.
